A favorite stop was the beachside community of Adelaide and the gorgeous natural beauty of Kangaroo Island where I drove in a Hertz rental. Melbourne had a cool vibe with a fun and delicious Queen Victoria Night Market, the Great Ocean Road with the 12 Apostles and the Penguin Parade.
